That’s me walking up a fell near our former home in the English Lake District. Now we are in central Scotland, and I will be mainly blogging about my 2018 challenge, which is to walk up 50 hills in support of Scottish Autism’s 50th anniversary. As well as a mountain-climber, I am a musician, songwriter, orienteer, occasional runner, husband, dad, lapsed vegetarian, one-time medievalist and lexicographer, and accountant. Above all else I’m motivated to try and make the world a better place, especially through trying to improve the lot of those who’ve not necessarily been dealt the best hand in life. Maybe some of these things will come into my blogs too.
